Position Title: HR Generalist

Schedule: 40 hours per week (exempt)

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary function of the Human Resources Generalist / Recruiter is to lead and deliver all facets of recruiting services throughout the firm. This includes developing recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas to help ensure that we are hiring the best possible talent.

In addition to recruiting activities, this position provides essential day-to-day HR generalist support in the areas of employee relations, performance management and compensation and benefit administration.

Qualifications:
This position requires excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to effectively work across the organization; a strong level of influence and negotiations skills; service orientation and outstanding problem solving skills; ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations; and the ability to work overtime to meet the business demands.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or Business including 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in MEP or a professional services firm. Previous experience with AAP compliance is required. Plan level benefits administration knowledge a plus

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary function of the HR Assistant is to provide administrative support to the HR Department in all areas including: HR record keeping, benefits, new hire orientations, performance and compensation management and employment. This function will also provide clerical support to the Accounting Department on an as needed basis.

Required Education and Skills:

This position requires excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels; strong organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines; high attention to detail; ability to work independently and take initiative; flexibility; service orientation and "can do" attitude; and strong problem solving skills.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least three years experience in Human Resources including previous experience with an HRIS and/or applicant tracking system. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, including good excel spreadsheet skills are required. Ability to work over time to meet RDK business demands and HR department goals and objectives is essential.
