Legal Update - Key Employement Law Issues from 2009-2010
THIS HALF DAY PROGRAM will address recent passage of employment laws and court decisions that affect Massachusetts and New Hampshire employers. It will also consider the impact of such legislation and case law on the workplace and talk about best practices and policies to implement as a result of legal changes.

About our Speakers:
JEFFREY S. BRODY
Jeffrey S. Brody is a partner at the Boston office of Jackson Lewis LLP. Mr. Brody regularly represents employers in various employment litigation matters, such as employment discrimination and wrongful discharge cases, including both single plaintiff and multi-plaintiff litigation. He has represented clients in both state and federal court, as well as before various governmental agencies including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the United States Department of Labor, and the New Hampshire Department of Labor. In addition, Mr. Brody’s practice involves advising clients regarding day-to-day employment issues, such as wage and hour issues, disability management issues, and non-competition agreements. He has conducted numerous training seminars for employers on a variety of employment-related topics. Mr. Brody is a 1989 graduate, cum laude, of Tufts University, and a 1993 graduate, with high honors, of the University of Connecticut School of Law. He is a member of the Bar of the federal and state courts in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut.
