Topic: Restructuring, Downsizing, Termination . . . How to Survive It!

A Workshop  for Those Left Behind

In these challenging times, organizations are struggling to survive. They are restructuring, downsizing, and terminating, and the remaining members of the organization are left to carry on.  The feelings these employees have are often overlooked.  The focus has been on those employees who were terminated from the organization, no fault of their own…but merely being in the wrong place at the wrong time.  The separation process for those who have been terminated is always viewed as the toughest.  Yet, the surviving members of the remaining organization are undergoing their own change cycle process.

This workshop helps bring awareness to the various feelings that are being experienced by all.  It recognizes that there is a great deal of energy being created by the change process, the uncertainty, the guilt, etc.  The workshop discusses theses feelings as well as exposes the challenges the remaining organization may be confronted with.  Also, what is the best means to channel these energies? The energies are there.  It’s a mere question whether you, as leaders, will redirect the energies into a positive direction or let the energies undermine the healing process.

The workshop discovers the power of the human spirit when there is a vision, a spirit of teamwork, and leadership that is willing to lead.
